CASE STUDY

Infinity Data Platform

Data was scattered across multiple applications, databases, platforms and business domains. Each source had evolved independently with its own structures, terminology and definitions. Combining information traditionally required copying, transforming or modifying source systems — an approach that was both costly and disruptive.

 

We combined Data Virtualisation and Graph Technology to create a unified semantic and connected data layer. Data virtualisation provided a common access layer while leaving data in its original systems. A shared business vocabulary and data dictionary translated disparate structures into a consistent enterprise language. Graph technology captured the relationships between entities across systems and domains, forming an abstraction layer between the technical landscape and data consumers.

CASE STUDY

TISAX Certification

TISAX (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange) is the automotive industry’s standard for assessing and exchanging information-security assurance. Based on the VDA ISA catalogue and operated by the ENX Association, it gives OEMs a common, trusted way to verify that suppliers protect sensitive data, prototypes and operational information. Without a valid TISAX label, suppliers cannot access or retain work with major manufacturers such as Volkswagen.

A global energy and technology services organisation needed to demonstrate a robust, independently assessable information-security posture for automotive-related engagements involving sensitive customer, supplier and operational data. The organisation had to align controls, evidence and governance with TISAX expectations while minimising disruption to business delivery, and establish a repeatable model for future customer requests.

 

  • Defined precise assessment scope (business areas, systems, locations, third parties and information flows)

  • Completed a structured gap assessment against VDA ISA-based TISAX requirements

CASE STUDY

Payment PoS Infrastructure

Payment-card processing infrastructure supporting 28 countries across Europe and Asia was end-of-life. Hardware was distributed across multiple non-secure sites, suffered regular unplanned outages, and delivered poor performance due to an inefficient network design with numerous hops. Processing times were excessive and user satisfaction lagged competitors.

Following detailed analysis we designed a consolidated, rationalised infrastructure hosted in a single central secure location. The solution featured leading-edge optimised point-to-point connectivity, fully redundant hardware with automatic failover, and full compliance with PCI DSS and ITIL best practice. All components were housed within the same secure environment.

The Outcome

  • Uptime of 99.998%, with planned outages limited to a maximum of two hours per year under pre-defined service levels

  • User experience significantly enhanced; satisfaction relative to competitors reached 73%

Private Cloud Automation

A government organisation had invested in multiple automation and cloud-management components for its private cloud. These tools operated in isolation with no overarching framework. The result was heavy reliance on manual intervention, inconsistent processes and limited ability to scale operations efficiently.
 

We designed an end-to-end automation framework that integrated the existing components into a cohesive private-cloud operating model. Rather than replacing technology, the focus was on orchestration, standardised workflows and automation of key operational processes, creating a unified automation layer across the environment.

CASE STUDY

Outsourcing of a National Logistics IT

A national logistics company’s IT estate and support model were not fit for purpose. Business-critical applications suffered frequent and prolonged outages. Infrastructure was hosted across unsuitable sites, backups failed to meet industry standards, and agreed service levels were rarely achieved. Multiple suppliers required separate reviews, manual workarounds were common, and support was delivered on a system-by-system basis with no single point of contact.

 

We performed a deep-dive analysis and ran structured requirements-gathering sessions. A formal RFx process was designed and managed (from six potential service integrators through to selection and contract). The chosen provider was onboarded and the full IT estate was transformed and transitioned under robust programme governance. A formal supplier-management framework covering service reviews, change management and continuous improvement was established.
